Thanks to our experience with 8” woofers dating back to 2008 the fifth generation E-8 offers levels of performance once reserved for significantly more expensive woofers. This driver is the result of 8-years of research, testing, and data from prior versions. The E-8 v.5 is built around an upgraded version of the v.4 motor with superior gap venting. These proven parts are mated up to a strong, high clearance stamped steel frame and competition grade soft parts. The tinsel leads have been upgraded to the same 63-conductor “Mini-XL” units now found on the E-10/12/15 v.3 woofers. Each part of the driver has been hand selected & tested to give you the ultimate in budget bass reproduction from a tiny ported enclosure. The fifth generation E-8 is far-and-away the best performing E-8 we have ever released.
